Planted in the heart of Los Angeles, CA, the five seeds of Lemon Sun are a rock and roll outfit known for their infectious sound and captivating live shows. Quite literally taking their moniker from a lucid dream, Lemon Sun and their sound are as vibrant as the rays overhead. With a few years of hard work and trials under their belt, Lemon Sun has just completed their first full-length album. The band was tired of labels talking without walking so they took out a loan and made a record on their terms with help from talented producer Dave Schiffman (Dead Meadow, long time engineer for Rick Rubin). Casbah
The Casbah has been open since 1989. Its first location had a legal capacity of 75 and hosted such bands as: Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Lemonheads, The Jesus Lizard, and Rocket From The Crypt. In the beginning of '94 we moved just down the road to our larger, plusher quarters and the rest is history. OurLinks
