The Uglysuit makes the return of the hippie sound better than the best thing you have heard before. The six boys to bring you the unabashed sounds of happiness reside in the Ever-sunny Oklahoma City where everyone is happy all the time and the flowers smell like a fairytale. Four of the six started playing together in hardcore-turned-happy band Corban Eldra. After the end of CE, a new beginning was wished into existence as two more joined the circle of happiness called The Uglysuit. Casbah
The Casbah has been open since 1989. Its first location had a legal capacity of 75 and hosted such bands as: Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Lemonheads, The Jesus Lizard, and Rocket From The Crypt. In the beginning of '94 we moved just down the road to our larger, plusher quarters and the rest is history. OurLinks
