Description
Location: Aztec Center & Centennial Walkway

This year marks the 20-year anniversary of World AIDS Day, a global movement that brings attention and remembrance to a global epidemic.

The SDSU World AIDS Day committee, comprised of students, faculty, and staff, is co-coordinating the day’s following events:

- Health Promotion Tabling, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Centennial Walkway: Stop by the tables to receive your free Red Ribbon of support.

- Visual Street Theatre, all day, Free Speech Steps: Student actors will provide a visual representation of AIDS statistics.

- Candlelight Memorial & March, 6 p.m., Free Speech Steps

Outside of SDSU, the university community can also participate in the 17th annual Tree of Life Lighting Ceremony, presented by Mama’s Kitchen and Village Hillcrest.
