Description
Like the many colors woven into a Persian carpet, classical music often blends with music of other cultures. In this musical exploration, the CLASSICS PHILHARMONIC travels to Persia and the Middle East for Norouz, a cultural celebration of the first day of spring. Joined by special folk musicians and dancers, colorful costumes, and traditional instruments, we’ll tell the story of The Persian Carpet and learn how music and culture bring people together.
After each concert young audience members meet musicians from the orchestra during our “Kids Chat.â€
RUN TIME: 1 hour (no intermission)
CHILDREN: All ages must have own ticket in same section as parent / adult.
Pricing (includes $1.50 Facility Fee)
