Bar Dynamite is a bar for those who love music, and anyone else should spend their evening elsewhere. Although the bar makes an attempt at atmosphere with multihued murals and reggae album covers on the walls, physically the bar shrinks in comparison with other area lounges. This is one place where it is all about the crowd. Laid-back without being losers, casual without being slobs, those that hang out at Bar Dynamite feel all pretensions should be bared when music is in the air. Every night, DJs play eclectic underground beats ranging from reggae to hip hop to disco for the satisfaction of happy dancers. Go ahead and join them, most likely, no one will laugh.

Beatnick's love affair with music began at a young age with the heavy rotation of his parents' disco records (breaking their record player) and staying up late on weekends to listen in on DJ mix shows in grade school. Hearing the call of music, Beatnick would sneak out to attend underground parties, fascinated by the DJ's ability to create a vibe and control the people's emotions. His lifelong love for music translated into a deep passion for collecting vinyl and sharing his love with others through DJ'ing. His style exudes all forms of soul music.
