Baby Symphony - Family Festival

The Family Festival is an ideal way for parents and grandparents to introduce children of all ages to the beauty and fun of classical music by having the Symphony play their favorite music to their favorite book! This time the story book is called "Behold the Bold Umbrellaphant" It's really really fun because if you come 1 hour before the concert, you can meet the musicians and have the kids touch and see the instruments that will be used. It's a great way of partnering books (like Green Eggs and Ham) with music by Beethoven, Mozart, and others. This was an incredible experience because Sophia got to hear a narrator read the book while the symphony played the score to the animated illustrations of the book on a large screen. While she is only two months, this program is wonderful for families who have kids of all ages.
