Special Olympics Southern California - San Diego County Holds Inaugural Fashion-Fantastic Shopping Event AVENTI D’ARTE What: Special Olympics Southern California - San Diego County will hold its inaugural Fashion-Fantastic Shopping Event - a sophisticated girls’ night out and shopping experience extraordinaire. When: Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Where: The Prado at Balboa Park – La Granada Ballroom Phone 619.557.9441 / Fax 619.557.9442 Who Benefits: All net proceeds will be used to support Special Olympics Southern California - San Diego County athletic programming. Special Olympics provides FREE year-round sports training and competition opportunities to individuals of all ages with intellectual disabilities. AVENTI D’ARTE Information: In this inaugural fundraising event for Special Olympics Southern California – San Diego County, women of all ages will be treated to a fashion fantastic shopping event that will feature new looks for Fall from some of Southern California’s leading designers and boutiques including Wild Silks – URU Clothing, Upside Down, Katharine Story, Bedhead Pajamas, Satori Designs, Chico’s, Shelley’s Fashions, Patti O’Neill Jewelry Designs, Beijo Bags and more. In addition to offering a broad range of fashion-forward clothing, accessories and gifts, there will be hosted wine, light appetizers from 5:30 – 7, entertainment and an opportunity to win a Full Fall Wardrobe and other fun, fabulous prizes by participating in a festive ’ $20 a Pop’ balloon raffle.
