Event details: Map & Compass Basics: REI Outdoor School Class

Description
Learn the basics of how to read a map and compass in this interactive and hands-on class. Our professional navigation instructors will teach you features of a map, how to identify your position, and plan routes. Maps and compasses will be provided; bring your own, if you prefer. To register for the class, call or visit your local REI Customer Service Department. If space permits, you may also pay the night of the class. Sign up for the optional Introduction to Map and Compass outing to practice what you'll learn tonight.
