Event details: 2010 Annual Black Summit - Inland Empire African American...
Description
Last years Summit was sponsored by Arrowhead Credit Union we thank them again for their support. Like last year the event was free to all participants we hope to have Arrowhead as a sponsor again.
We had 127 Black Leaders from all over the IE. The areas highest ranking Black elected officials and 13 of 25 elected Black officials join us for the day.
This event launched the chamber on an effective new course for 2009. We formed new alliances, work groups, business associations and political groups; and reclaimed our leadership Black presence in the IE.
This year’s tentative agenda will include reports from:
Barbara Boxer’s US Senate, office on federal issues of note.
Joe Baca, US Congressmember’s Office on federal issues of note
California State Governors, office on the status of stimulus funding.
Wilmer Amina Carter, Assemblymember on the state budget.
Robert Byrd, Riverside County Auditor Controller on Riverside County’s budget.
Keith Lee, San Bernardino County Deputy Administrative Officer on San Bernardino County’s budget.
Will also have:
Voting for the 2010 IEAACC Officers
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Selection of key areas of work for 2010.
Selection of committee chairs.

Finance
