tick, Tick... BOOM!: Audiences are raving that the off-Broadway musical
"tick,Tick... BOOM!", which performed in both New York City and London, is
equally as powerful as Larson's Tony-Award winning musical that inspired us to measure life in love and live for the day, RENT. It tells the story of composer Jonathan Larson (Jon), who lives in New York City in 1990. This musical takes you on a journey of Larson's life as he turns 30 and faces the pressure of his girl friend Susan and his best friend Michael, who want him to choose another career than that of a struggling musical theatre composer waiting tables in New York City. This is his story!
Jonathan Larson died in 1996, the evening before his show opened on
Broadway. The cast of tick, Tick... BOOM! dedicates this production to Jonathan Larson and want to say thank you to him for creating this masterpiece. It has truly touched our lives! May your soul live on through your music, because your music lives on through us.
