Texas Music Educators Association Annual Conference 2010 at Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
Begun in 1920 as the Texas Band Teachers Association, the Texas Music Educators Association is an organization of over 9,000 school music educators united by common goals.
A part of the Annual Clinic-Convention of TMEA held in San Antonio each February is a three-day 1,200+ booth exhibit show. Exhibits include everything from music instrument manufacturers to music retailers to fund-raising companies. Total attendance at the event is over 23,000 with over 9,000 of those being active music teachers.
