Rock'n' Roll Training (11 Weeks to go!)

Another new course for this week's Marathon and Half-Marathon training run. We will be running the Triple Parks course. Our course will begin at Friedrich Park then run by CrownRidge Park then to Raymond Russell Park. The distance from Friedrich to Raymond Russell is 7.5 miles. We will be doing an out and back for a total of 15 miles for the marathoners. This is a SATURDAY run, instead of our normal Sunday. Since several members are running the Labor Day Whine Run on Monday, September 6, we decided we needed to rest on Sunday. This course is somewhat hilly but does have some flat stretches. Each park has restroom facilities in case you need it. The parks also have water but bring your own to be safe. The easiest way to get to the park is to take 1604 to Babcock. Go North on Babcock to Heuermann Road. Heuermann Road turns into Milsa Road. Friedrich Park is at 21395 Milsa Road. Friedrich Park is located HERE. If the park is not open when you get there just park right outside the entrance.
