Description
The trail rating is 2 because the majority of the walk is on unimproved trails through the park with some moderate inclines and some uneven gravel terrain. Hiking boots or sturdy shoes are recommended. Bring water and any snacks that you might want. Basic restrooms are at the Starting Point and primitive restrooms and a water fountain are at the halfway point (except in wintertime). It is good walking from dawn to dusk but make sure that you plan to complete your walk before dark.
