Description
Our brand new Cuckoo Corner is a chance for guests to interact closely with a trained flock of Guira Cuckoos. Visitors will have the opportunity to assist the trainers in teaching the birds to do a variety of behaviors. Currently the birds are station trained and guests provide the reward (food) to the birds when they remain on their assigned station. Stay on your toes, because these clever birds will try to outsmart you This exhibit is a true immersion into training techniques used by the best zoos in the country.
