BLM/Fort Ord Hike

This will be an easy to moderate hike on the old Fort Ord property that is now managed by Bureau of Land Management. Lets meet at the Creekside parking area at 10:00am. I am thinking a 5-7 mile or so hike with an elevation change generally less than 500 feet during the course of the hike. We can stop along the way for munchies. Dogs are welcome. Rain will cancel. Directions: the Creekside trailhead is in the Toro Park subdivision area. Take Hwy 68 to Reservation Road. From this intersection, travel west on Reservation for a short distance to Portola Drive. Turn left on Portola, travel a short distance to Creekside, turn right on Creekside and this will take you to the BLM parking lot/trailheads. The parking area is well marked from Portola Drive. I will be there around 9:45 and will be in a green Toyota Tacoma pickup or a tan Toyota Camry with a Meetup sign on the hood.
