Exhibition | Ian J. Cohn: The Faces of Phlamoudhi

In 1972, Ian J. Cohn (American, born 1950) went to Cyprus and documented the daily life and people in the remote village of Phlamoudhi. Two years later, the Turkish invasion led to the village being abandoned by its Greek Cypriote population. These photographs "rediscovered" 35 years later, "Ian J. Cohn: The Faces of Phlamoudhi" offers an intimate glimpse of a place and a way of life that no longer exists except in memory.
