Weather Permitting Monarch Grove Sanctuary Point Lobos State Reserve Trail Map $10:00 per vehicle entrance fee Point Lobos State Reserve Rules: Remain on designated trails Stay away from cliffs Rock climbing prohibited No Pets No parrallel parking-Head in only Do not collect, remove, or disturb natural objects Do not feed wildlife Picnic in designated areas only After touring the Monarch Grove Sanctuary we will head over to Point Lobos State Reserve where they have a series of short connected hikes. We'll get recommendations from the visitor center and hopefully hike most of them. Bring your own breakfast/lunch/snacks, and we'll have dinner on the way back to Sacramento. Tentative schedule: 7:15 Leave REI 10:45 Arrive Sanctuary 12:30pm Lunch (at the sanctuary or the reserve) 1:00pm Point Lobos Visitor Center 4:30pm leave Point Lobos Stop dinner along the way home 9:00pm arrive REI Personal note: Bert and I are spending the night and going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Sunday. Parking is available at the entrance.
