Sunday Brunch - Fish Hatchery to Old Sac E-50

Terrain: Bike trail, mostly flat. Distance: approx 50 miles round trip Speed: 15 - 17 mph on the flat Rider Level: Strong Beginners and up Sweep: No This ride will be a moderately paced, longer distance ride for Sunday brunch at the Rio City Cafe. We'll meet at the Fish Hatchery at 8:00am and leave at 8:15am, and ride the bike trail through Discovery Park and into Old Sacramento for a relaxed brunch, then head back to the Hatchery. This ride is mainly intended for strong beginners and the pace will be adjusted to suit those in the group, though higher levels are welcome to join. WeÂ’ll ride at a moderate pace and take breaks as desired. The idea is to push yourself within your limits, but this is not a training ride. Please update your RSVP if you cannot make the event. I would strongly suggest bringing a bike lock, there is ample area in front of the cafe to lock up. Remember to bring $$ for breakfast. Please bring plenty of water and a helmet is required.
