Riverfront Evening Hike

Approx. 6.5 miles. Two hours+/- Meet at 6:00 PM Bring a flashlight or headlamp Starting in downtown Sacramento at 4th and S Streets the hike takes you along the scenic Sacramento Riverfront to Discovery Park and back. For great views of the Old Sac Riverfront and the Delta King we will cross over the Sacramento River at the Tower Bridge and hike along the west side of the river to the I Street Bridge where we cross back to continue the hike to Discovery Park. We then return along the riverfront through Old Sac and back to the starting point. Riverfront Hike Map There is plenty of free parking after 6:00 pm along S street between 3rd and 4th streets. For those that have the time afterwards, we'll go for beer, margaritas, and/or dinner at Vallejo's Restaurant on the corner of 4th and S streets. (To get to the meetup location from I-5, take the Q street exit then right on 3rd street to S street. From Hwy 50 take I-5 north to the Q Street exit. The meetup location is 6 blocks from the 8th and O Street Light Rail Station.)
