I80 Corridor: Maidu Interpretive Center Docent led tour.

This excursion is co-organized with Sierra Foothill Hikers http://www.meetup.com/Sierra-Foothill-Hikers/ This is an easy docent led 2-mile hike proceeded by a tour of the Maidu Interpretive Center Museum. Cost is $4 payable at the museum entrance. Current exhibit is Discovery - Devastation - Survival 'California Indians and the Gold Rush'. All ages encouraged to attend. Children are $3, adults $4, family is $12. Clouds or light rain will not be a cause for cancellation, neither will temperature. No dogs. Group will meet at the Interpretive center at 9:45 am and will begin our excursion at 10:00am sharp. There is a nice picnic area behind the center so bring a lunch! This is a wonderful opportunity to see a well preserved Maidu Indian historic site complete with a well regarded and fascinating museum. I did this tour ~5-years-ago in my daughter's third grade class. It was excellent.
