Description: Tour Freedom's Sisters travleing exhibition highlighting 20 extraordinary African American women, who fought for freedom and changed the course of history, from key 19th century historical figures to contemporary leaders. Developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services, this compelling exhibition engages visitors with interactive displays, including video monitors, computer activities, and a replica of a Montgomery, Alabama bus made famous by Rosa Parks. The exhibit is available during Central Library open hours and is free to the public. Freedom's Sisters, an exhibition created by Cincinnati Museum Center,organized for travel by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services (SITES), and made possible through the generous support of Ford Motor Company Fund.
