Channuka, Hanuka, Hannukah? There may be 17 different way to spell it, but only one place to be! If you enjoyed last years party featuring "Jewtopia", this will be an evening you will not want to miss!
Held at the historic Memorial Auditorium, we will be honoring Lou Weintraub, Skip Rosenbloom, and Brian Fischer, as this year's theme of "passing the torch" signifies our inter-generational leaders commitment to our community and their quiet leadership.
All are welcome to join the Federation, and Sacramento's Israeli "King", Omri Casspi, as we celebrate the MAGIC of the holidays with an evening of "supernatural entertainment" with world renowned magician and mentalist, Lior Suchard.
Casspi will be joining us for the Community-Wide Chanukah Party following his first month as the first Israeli NBA (National Basketball Association) player, and should have much to talk about as well as pose for pictures and signing autographs for the crowd.
Suchard, unique in his field as a supernatural entertainer, is widely considered the best in his field. The apprentice of renowned mentalist Uri Geller, Lior will demonstrate live, up-close and personal his breathtaking telepathic and extra sensory abilities, sure to leave the crowd stunned and amazed.
Over the past ten years Suchard has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel, and is no stranger to the spotlight. In his show, Lior combines his supernatural skills with clever humor and jaw-dropping 'magic' to create one unforgettable show that is sure to appease all ages.
