Artists on Safari - Summer Art Camp for Kids

Kids Ages 7 - 12

9AM - 12PM
Kids will explore the wonderful world of animals through art and design. Kids will create endangered animal sculptures in the style of American artist Alexander Proctor, paint African watercolor sunsets inspired by National Geographic photographers, design animal tessellations in the style of M.C. Escher and create a “Save the Planet” poster campaign. Students will learn about color theory, balance, symmetry, camouflage design, complex patterning and many other art concepts. Students will be introduced to different cultures, habitats and artists from around the world in this exciting 1/2 day summer break art camp.
