Description
Recreation Center Hours: MON-THU: 5am-10pm; FRI: 5am-9pm; SAT: 7am-7pm; and SUN: 10am-6pm. Closed on certain holidays. Call 512/218-3220 for information. The Walk Box is located behind the Information Desk at the recreation center. The trail begins at the Madsen Recreation Center and wanders through nearby neighborhoods, through Round Rock Memorial Park, along the historic Chisolm Trail, and to the site of the famous "Round Rock" for which the town is named. The trail also goes through the old downtown area, past the famous Round Rock Bakery and past many historic homes.
