Introduction to Baitcasting

Are you tired of the birds nest or backlash in your reel? Have you ever wanted to learn how to cast a baitcast reel but never had any one to teach you? Well this is the class for you. Let our Bass Pro Shop's Pros show you how.

Every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Class space is limited to (4) four participants per class, so be sure to register for this free course.

To attend please sign up at the reel bar located in our fishing department, or call 419-891-3900 and ask to be directed to the fishing department. Rods & reels will be provided for the classes.

Class size limited to those individuals 10 years and up.

Sunny days, classes will be held outside at our pond with the dock. Classes will cover the (4) four different casts: overhand, rollcast, flipping and pitching.

If inclement weather, classes will be held indoors in our fishing department and will cover flipping and pitching in heavy cover.
