Walk: Lights on the Lake (Onondaga Lake Parkway)

The night before the drive thru Lights on the Lake opens, OLP opens this up for people who would like to walk it. This flat walk is 4 miles RT and hours of operation are 5pm - 9pm. You get to see all the holiday lights as you stroll along the lake. Be prepared for any kind of weather. I would suggest layering, and bringing plenty of warm clothing. Last year it rained and was cold. Please remember to wear appropriate footwear. 4 miles in pinchy shoes hurts at the end of 4 miles. If we're feeling up to it, we can head over to the Retreat afterwards for a warm beverage to get your circulation moving again. I am willing to carpool from the Utica/Rome area if anyone would like to go. I will be leaving Exit 33 around 6pm. Please meet in the parking area and let me know if you want to carpool. As always, when carpooling with anyone, please remember to chip in for gas and tolls or make arrangements with your driver.
