Description
Daily 6 am - dusk. Closed Christmas. Walk through lovely Rogersville where more than 30 homes and buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. Rogersville is home to the oldest courthouse, inn, and post office in Tennessee. Stroll through Crockett Springs Park where Davy Crockett's grandparents were massacred by Indians in 1777 and buried nearby. The first Tennessee newspaper was printed in Rogersville in 1791. The walk passes the Tennessee Newspaper and Printing Museum located in the old Southern Railway Train Depot built in 1890.
