Event details: Walking Event: Parklawn
Description
Daily, dawn to dusk. Walk in daylight hours only. Start Point Hours: Mon. - Thurs., 6 - 9; Fri., 6 - 10; Sat., 6 - 10; Sun. and Federal Holidays, 6:30 - 8. Closed Christmas. This trail is mostly on a paved hiker/biker trail through Rock Creek Park and a short loop through Parklawn Memorial Park; it is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. The optional 12km trail which bypasses Parklawn Memorial Park is provided because PETS are not allowed in the Memorial Park. PETS must be leashed when in Rock Creek Park. There is a restroom in Parklawn Memorial Park. For trail conditions in Rock Creek Park, call park office at 301-948-5053 or Park Police at 301-949-3010.
