Please, join the Yes Montgomery Can ! and participate in our Martin Luther King Jr Weekend of Service $ Sacrifice from January 16-20,2009. Many of our neighbors right here in Montgomery County are hurting and you can do something to help. All indicators of real need - from foreclosures to food stamps - are skyrocketing in our County. In view of this challenge, Montgomery County wants to raise $100,000 to meet the challenge of a generous donor and collect food to refill the shelves at the Manna Center. This can't happen without you. Montgomery County needs volunteers to knock on doors and also to work on community service projects on the January 19, 2009. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service $ Sacrifice. This is our chance to answer President-elect Obama's call for a new spirit of service right here at home. You can make a difference, Yes you can. We, the Unite for Change/Gaithersburg Evangelicals for Obama wants to encourage all Obama supporters to join thousands of Montgomery residents coming together over the historic weekend of January 16-20, 2009 that includes the Martin Luther King Jr. and the inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States of America. Join the Yes Montgomery Can! on January 13th, 2009 on the steps of County Council Building at Rockville. Yes we can!
