ABBA was a pop music group formed in Sweden in 1972. The band consisted of Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Fältskog. They topped the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. The name "ABBA" is an acronym formed from the first letters of each of the group members' given names (Agnetha, Björn, Benny, Anni-Frid), and the group took this name officially in late 1973.[1] The group's name is officially trademarked with the first "B" reversed. The Arrival
The Arrival, formed by a close knit group of friends in the fall of 2004, dove head first into their career by writing and recording their debut EP "Residence Lift" over only a few short months in early 2005. The EP was tracked and produced by Matt Goldman at Glow in the Dark Studios in Atlanta, GA and received praise by both online communities (such as absolutepunk, myspace, and purevolume), and a quickly growing fan base on the east coast garnered by relentless self-supported touring.
