When: October 2 & 3, 2010 Where:TBD Where: Echo Lake State Park 60 Echo Lake Road Conway, NH 03818 Meeting Location: Parking Area Fee: $4 About Echo Lake State Park Echo Lake State Park is a great place to take the family for a swim and picnic. A scenic trail around the lake provides great views of sheer, 700-foot Cathedral Ledge which towers over the lake. A mile-long auto road and hiking trails lead to the top of Cathedral Ledge where views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains can be enjoyed. Both Cathedral and nearby White Horse ledges are popular rock and ice climbing walls. About Diana's Bath .5 mile from the turnoff to Cathedral Ledge on West Side Rd., Bartlett. 200 yards of granite terraces. An easy .5 mile walk in takes you to cascading falls, waterspouts and granite basins along Lucy Brook. Read more here. Suggested to bring: Bring a tripod (if you have one), neutral density filter (if you have one), and plenty of memory cards. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for hiking.
