Thursday 6:30-9:30 pm 8 weeks 185.00 Ability level: all levels Pastel offers a unique bridge between drawing and painting. This class, suited for both beginner and advanced artists, covers techniques in both oil and chalk pastel, giving the student a solid introduction to pastel painting. An emphasis on accurate perception, the importance of understanding the qualities of light and utilization of color harmony will be covered which translates to any medium. This class will allow you to explore subjects while building skill and confidence in your handling of medium. This is slated to be pastel class but other media are welcome, (Oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor)
