      Many Faces, One Community - Opening

      Come Celebrate! Midway Village Museum will debut the first exhibits of its new "Many Faces, One Community" immersive gallery portraying Rockford's immigrant experiences from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the museum. It's a fun-filled day featuring music and dance by cultural performing artists, plus classic games for children to learn and play, genealogy experts to help with your family tree, talks on immigrant experiences and ethnic food and refreshments. And don't miss your chance to receive Rockford artist Tom Heflin autograph a copy of his beautiful "Statue of Liberty" illustrated poster. Heflin will be at the event signing the poster while supplies last. One per family/group.
