Sap, Syrup, and Sugar at the Genesee Country Museum

This was rescheduled from last week's rainy weekend. Celebrate a unique North American tradition with self-guided walks to the sugar bush, 19th-century and modern syrup-making demos and tastings, plus plenty of activities around the museum, including hands-on crafts, games and storytelling, food tastings, dancing, open-hearth cooking in their historic village and a maple sugar history trail. Maple-sugaring activities including tree tapping, sap collection and boiling down the sap to syrup and sugar.
