It is the night before Christmas, a night filled with dreams and wishes of children. For a girl named Clara, it will be a night in which her dreams come true. Join Clara and her prince as The Southwest Virginia Ballet presents their annual production of The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is the most well-known and loved story ballet of all time. Lush scenery and costumes, along with Tchaikovsky's lavish score set the perfect backdrop for Hoffman's timeless story. Imaginations will be sparked and audiences delighted as a Christmas tree grows to huge proportions, mice and soldiers battle, and waltzing Snowflakes whirl about amidst real falling snow. Candies and sweets from exotic lands come to life and a gigantic Mother Ginger plays with her many ginger children. This is a performance that will thrill all ages and lift holiday spirits! Gr
