General Program Drop-In Meditation Class - LEXINGTON

A meditation practice can bring benefits of a physical, mental and spiritual nature. By cultivating a mind of virtue, we can develop inner peace at our heart and experience true happiness. A meditation practice helps to motivate us to abandon non-virtuous, negative actions and control our deluded minds. These classes focus on methods taught by the Buddha to help us find true happiness and reduce our suffering by understanding the nature and functioning of the mind. Each class includes a guided meditation, teachings based on Kadampa Buddhism, and prayers for world peace. March 18 - A Mind of Faith March 25 - Consideration for Others April 1 - Replacing Hatred with Love April 8 - Applying Effort Each class is self-contained and can be attended individually or as the entire series.
