Mid-week ride at Poor Farm Park

For those who have an alternative or flexible work schedule, there is a mid-week ride scheduled at Poor Farm in Ashland. Details Skills: From beginner to advanced will enjoy these trails. Roots, rocks, climbs, twisty singletrack - something for everyone. Trail Description: Trails criss-cross the area and they offer nearly anything a mountain biker would want to ride; flat twisty singletrack, drops & climbs, roots, rocks, water crossings, and everything but slickrock. Approximately 12 miles of trails. ** Beginners will love the trails on the left side of the park. They run from just across the parking lot to behind the school on the way into the park. This area is called the "Flats." Directions: I-95 to the Ashland Rt 54 West (Exit 92). Follow 54 West through town & then for another 5- 6 mls. Look for signs that say "Liberty Middle School" and "Poor Farm Park". Turn left at the signs and follow the road into the park, parking is on the right in the back. What to bring: Helmets are required! You will not be allowed to ride without a helmet. Bike gloves are recommended. So is protective eyewear. Water and snacks Spare tube and tools, if you have them - I will carry a pack with the essentials. Smiles We will meet at the back parking lot (enter the park, follow the road all the way through and stay to the right). **Please arrive about ten minutes early and be ready to ride at 3:30 p.m. We'll be stopping at various points along the way so that nobody gets left behind.
