Learn to Lindy in a 6 class series

Learn to Lindy Hop 1214 Wilmer Avenue, Richmond, VA 23227 7:00-8:00: Beginner Swing/Lindy Hop lesson 8:00-9:00: Intermediate Swing/Lindy Hop lesson 9:00-10:00: Open Dancing $8/$6 students per class John Ennis and Laura Fister are the National Jitterbug Championship 2007 Amateur Grand Slam winners and have set up a series of weekly classes that will start Thursday, October 22. They have chosen the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on 1214 Wilmer Avenue, just off of 95 near the Azalea Mall. There will be a beginner lesson from 7:00-8:00PM taught by Catherine Farmer for anyone who doesn't have much experience with Swing or Lindy. An intermediate lesson taught by John and Laura will be following the beginner lesson from 8:00-9:00PM. This lesson will improve upon your existing knowledge of Swing and Lindy by adding styling, control, and new moves. After the intermediate lessons, there will be open dancing from 9:00-10:00PM. This is a great opportunity for anyone in the area who is interested in learning or improving upon their Swing/Lindy. Its also great for meeting other people in the area with a similar interest to go out to the local venues and dance to show off what you learned.
