First Saturday @ the DanceSpace

First Saturday at the Dance Space is Swing, Lindy, Blues, Tango, Salsa, Hip-Hop, and more. The floors are made of butterfly bamboo and the music is DJ'd by dancers from all over Virginia, so you know its danceable. Beginner Swing lessons are from 7:30-8:30PM and generally taught by instructors from the Richmond area. They primarily teach the beginner 6-count swing, 8-count Lindy, or 8-count Charleston. Cost is included in general admission to the dance. Open Dancing is from 8:30-11:30PM and costs $8/$5 for students.
