Rock Climbing at Sportrock in Alexandria, VA

NOTE: This event has been rescheduled from Nov 6th. *********************************************************************** Is work so frustrating that you sometimes want to climb the walls? Sportrock Alexandria has just finished a huge expansion and their gym now boasts many new routes to climb! Whether youÂÂ've never climbed before or are an old hand, this session is a great way to start. Sportrock staff will be responsible for belaying us, so weÂÂ'll just harness up and climb our way to the top! Snacks (cheese, crackers, fruit, chips) and soft drinks/water will be provided in the party room, where weÂÂ'll hang out and schmooze after our climbing session. Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Sportrock is climate controlled, but may still be chilly in winter and warm in summer. For pants, sweatpants, long shorts, or tights work best. Helmets are required. You can bring your bicycle helmet or climbing helmet, or use one of theirs. For shoes, wear athletic shoes, climbing shoes or sneakers. Note that sandals or boots are not allowed.
