Afternoon High Tea with Tastings in Georgetown

Our destination today is the exclusive Tea Cellar at the Park Hyatt Hotel. Featuring more than 50 rare and limited production, single-estate teas from remote regions of China, Japan, Sri Lanka and the Himalayas, the Tea Cellar will introduce us to the highest quality of tea, and will share the significance of water temperature and steeping time each tea requires. Their onsite Tea Expert will lead us through a tasting of sophisticated tea offerings, some of which are at the level of flavor and complexity of fine wines. WeÂÂ'll sample a flight of six teas; and for each, we will first get information on its history and harvest. WeÂÂ'll view, touch and smell the loose tea, then it will be set to steep for our tasting pleasure.
