Workday Information
Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor.
What: Join our hard-working crew for a chance to get outdoors during the week. This program rotates to each project site. Volunteers help with habitat restoration work such as removal of invasive plants, installing native plants, and building habitat structures.
When: This workday is MONDAY, May 14, from 9:30 to 12:30, but these workdays are typically held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Where: Help Stulsaft Park, a Redwood City Park with a lovely creek, Arroyo Ojo de Agua and rare urban stands of remaining native habitat. We will meet at the Goodwin Entrance to the park. Take Goodwin northwest from Alameda de las Pulgas to a road called Mitchell Way to the left and Recreation Way to the right. We will meet just inside the gate off Recreation Way.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent. Questions? Contact clairee@acterra.org.
PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.
Cost: "3rd Tuesday" Habitat Restoration Day 0.00
