Lake Sammamish Trail

The Lake Sammamish Trail starts at the north end of Marymoor Park , takes you through the wetlands and then along Lake Sammamish. This trail runs all the way along the lake and is surrounded by so much natural beauty and such wide variety of wildlife. It is level, well maintained and easy for everyone to walk on. This will be a 5-6 mile walk ( Round trip ) and should last about 2 hours. This will be a fun walk for everyone. We also have the option of stopping somewhere for brunch afterwards. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area. I have seen more Bald Eagle sitings in this area than anywhere else. This is a dog friendly trail for anyone who would like to bring their dog along. Directions: In Redmond, take SR 520 to the end where AvondaleRd starts. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right on Redmond Way. On Redmond Way, turn right at the second light onto Ease Lake Sammamish Parkway. At the first light, turn right onto NE 65th St. Less that a block down, you will see the parking lot on your left and Les Schwab on your right.
