Event details: Walking Event: Sundial Bridge
Description
Daily, dawn to dusk. The start box is located at the reservation desk. Please be patient if guests are checking in and/or out. You will need to drive a short distance from the start point to the Sundial Bridge. Driving directions are included with the walk directions. This walk will take you over the world renowned Sundial Bridge, through the beautiful McConnell Arboretum and Gardens and along the Sacramento River. You will cross the historic Diestelhorst Bridge and have many photo opportunities. Look for wildlife on the ground, in the river and in the sky. The 5K walk will take you under the Sundial Bridge where you will enjoy cool breezes along the Sacramento River. Restrooms and water are available along the way. The Sundial Bridge and surrounding areas close at midnight.
