Description
The RBC Center Raleigh originally opened its doors as the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena on October 29, 1999. Located in this bustling North Carolina city, the RBC Center boasts a capacity of up to 20,000, and well as three concourses, 66 luxury suites and an upgraded sound system. Since opening, the RBC Center has become an immensely popular venue for sports, music and live entertainment.
The RBC Center Raleigh is currently home to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and the NC State University men’s basketball team. In addition to the various games played by its tenants, the RBC Center schedule has also hosted notable sports events like the CIAA’s men’s basketball tournament and the NCAA basketball tournament.
Of course, the venue's schedule is not just limited to the world of sports. Many of the biggest names in music and entertainment have played, or are set to play the venue in the coming months. Cirque du Soleil, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban are just a few of the stars lined up to appear at the RBC Center later this year. Pro-wrestling matches, and family-friendly shows are also regular additions to the Raleigh venue's event listings.
