Healthy Bake and Take Meetup

This was so much fun when we did it at Caroline's house back in September and was a big hit.... Come over to my house at 5 (or whenever you can) and we'll let the kids play, parents can hang out, and we'll cook up some yummy, healthy dinner to split and take home. Last time we did split pea soup, corn bread and salad and it was delicious! My family enjoyed it for several days after the event so it was definitely $5 well spent! I haven't finalized a menu for this time yet, but I'll look around online between now and then and come up with something yummy and healthy for us to make. The way this works is, I'll go out the day of the event and buy all of the food we'll need to cook with so I'll be closing the RSVPs the night before, and no "maybes" allowed on this one. I'll email everyone what their portion of the meal will cost (should be around $5 per person for 4-6 servings to take home). You will need to bring your own containers to take your meal home in. Once I know what we'll be having I'll post a suggestion for what you should bring. If you can't come right at 5 don't worry, we'll probably be cooking/playing/hanging out till around 6 or 6:30 so you could just stop by whenever you can to pick up your food. Hope to see you there!
