Description:

The NYC Compost Project offers a variety of workshops on indoor and outdoor composting. If you’re interested in spreading compost know-how with people in Queens, consider the Master Composter Certification Course. The course consists of 7 classroom sessions, 2 field trips, and 30 hours of volunteer outreach in compost education and promotion. Course material fee $40.

Application Due: Monday, February 1
Class Dates and Time: 8 Tuesdays, 6 to 9 pm; March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27
Field Trips: 2 weekend days in Spring 2010, details TBA
