Putnam Tarot Study Group Meetup

This meetup is going to be an introduction to the Tarot. I would like to get a feel for what everyone's experience is. Topics covered will include the syllabis for the course, a short history on the Tarot itself, as well as theories of origin. The Major and Minor Arcana will also be introduced. At this first meetup, it is not necessary to have your own deck, however, you should purchase one soon to get the most out of this group. Decks can be purchased at The Cosmic Cat or any bookstore for around $20. I recommend that you spend the extra money to get a tarot/book set, as the companion book to a deck can be helpful for understanding the images on decks that may differ from the Rider-Waite deck.
