Learn the basics of drypoint etching in two easy hands-on sessions. It's a printmaking medium perfect for the artist or beginner who likes to draw and wants to print multiples images in a direct manner. No difficult process or chemicals. This workshop includes studio access until 4pm on Monday.

The fully stocked "green" printmaking studio has 3 etching presses suitable for intaglio, stencil, or relief work, oil based inks, printmaking papers, a variety of brayers, and a large diameter roller. The large roller is great for flat color and transferring images. Demonstrations will be based on individual needs and desires.
Vicky Tomayko is an artist/printmaker living in Truro. She was a fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and has a MFA in printmaking from Western Michigan University.
