Providence Preservation Society Downtown Holiday Festival

Visit some of the most distinctive and extraordinary residential and commercial spaces in Downtown Providence, many not open to the public except during this tour. This self-guided tour is sure to dazzle and inspire.

The day includes fun for the whole family with hay rides, carolers singing along the streets, activities for children, holiday snacks and hot beverages, and more. Many shops will be open with live entertainment for your shopping pleasure.

After touring, join Mayor David Cicilline for his traditional tree lighting at 6 p.m. in front of City Hall. A parade leading up to City Hall starts at 5:45 p.m. on Westminster Street in front of the Arcade.

Following the tree lighting, enjoy the "After-Tour Celebration" sponsored by Lite Rock 105 and featuring a celebrity guest. Starting at 6:30 p.m., attendees will savor hors d'oeuvres and cocktails while listening to holiday music at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Providence.
